Hammams built by a manufacturer from Istanbul
The Turkish bath is where Sauna Dekor comes from. Founded in Istanbul in 1987, the company designs and builds hammams for private villas, hotels and institutional clients, and Al Parimar delivers that work across Dubai and the UAE as Sauna Dekor UAE.
A hammam is a heated wet room, not a decorative one. Floor and platform heating, steam, waterproofing, drainage falls and ventilation all have to be right before the marble goes down. We design the technical layers and the finish together, so the room performs as well as it looks.
Hammam styles
Ottoman hammam
The classic Turkish bath: a heated marble göbek taşı at the centre, marble basins, and a warm, humid atmosphere for washing and kese scrub rituals.
Moroccan hammam
Zellige tilework, tadelakt-style surfaces and a stronger steam profile, often paired with a relaxation area.
Modern hammam
Contemporary reinterpretations in micro-cement or large-format stone, suited to villa spa suites where the hammam sits alongside a sauna, steam room and cold plunge.

Questions
Frequently asked
Can a hammam be added to an existing villa?
In many cases, yes. It depends on available space, floor build-up for heating and drainage, waterproofing and ventilation. We review the drawings or visit the site and confirm what is feasible before quoting.
What is a göbek taşı?
The göbek taşı is the heated central marble platform of a traditional Turkish hammam, where bathers lie to warm up before washing and scrubbing. We build it with integrated heating as part of the hammam.
What finishes can a hammam have?
Marble, zellige mosaic, micro-cement and large-format stone are the most common. The choice affects slip resistance, heat retention and maintenance, so we advise on each with the interior designer.
Do you work with our interior designer or contractor?
Yes. We regularly work alongside interior designers, fit-out firms and main contractors, providing technical and MEP information so the hammam integrates with the wider build.
What warranty do you provide?
Every hammam installation carries a 24-month warranty from the same team that designed and built it.
